EL trial papers 4 and 5 have been returned for revision.
Reminders:
1) No early dismissal tomorrow as the HCL paper is only for Primary 5.
2) SA2 Examination will start on this Friday (27/10) and they will be dismissed at 12.45pm from this Friday (27/10) to next Wednesday (1/11). They need to wear their school uniform during their examination period starting from this Friday (27/10).

Re: EL Oral
Dear Parents,
The Speak Well booklet has been returned to them yesterday. Please use that to revise for their oral. I also did one more practice with the class today.
Details of the practice today:
(Picture Title- Breakfast Drinks with pictures of orange juice, milk and milo)
The 3 questions (prompts):
a) Look at the picture. Which drink would you choose for your breakfast? Tell me why.
b) What is your favourite food? Tell me about it.
c) Do you enjoy going to the supermarket? Why / Why not?
*Do take note that they have a 5 minute preparation time before they go up to the examiner.
During this 5 minute preparation time, they are only given the reading passage and the picture without the questions (prompts). Therefore, I told them to use 1 minute plus to 2 minutes to practise reading the passage and then about 3 minutes to think of what the likely questions (prompts) are so that they have an idea of what to say.
There are some steps that they can follow (SEP):
Step 1: State his choice.
Step 2: Elaborate by giving the reasons to support why he make that choice using the 5 Ws and 1 H. (the part on 'Firstly, Secondly, Thirdly, Last but not least' and etc)
Step: 3: Bring in a personal experience (his own experience) or a conclusion should the question allow.
E.g Last month, I have just been to my friend's birthday party. It was held at .....
E.g. In conclusion, I want to study hard to become a doctor in future.
