20 Sep- Chinese Oral Amodes 3

Dear Parents,
the rubrics for Chinese Oral is given today (pink paper). You may use it to grade your child when you revise with him. We have chosen picture 1, 2 and 5, and reading passage 1, 2 and 3 to be tested. They will only be tested on one of the pictures and one of the reading passages. Thank you

A gentle reminder:

There will be no school tomorrow for them due to PSLE listening comprehension. However, they will still need to report to school at 3.30pm for their P1 Chinese Speech and Drama Night.

Re: English Term 4 AMODES - Writing AMODE Test (Composition)

Dear Parents,

There will be a writing AMODE test (composition writing) on Wednesday (28/9) in week 3. The duration of the test will be 50 minutes.

It will be the usual writing of 4 pictures in 4 paragraphs. They need to finish writing the whole story within the time given.

Therefore, I will not be collecting back their yellow EL file until after this writing AMODE test.

*The next EL AMODE test will be in week 7 and it will  be a mini test on grammar, vocab and open-ended comprehension. More information will be given later.
