1) Bring EL spelling book tomorrow for unit 8.2 spelling.

2) Sign EL yellow file content pg (No.5 to 7). Bring back the yellow file tomorrow.

3) Sign EL brown file content pg (No. 16 to 20) and all the worksheets of No. 16 to 20. Bring back the brown file only on next Friday (5th May).

CL Oral Amodes- 25-26 April

Dear parents,
Pls take note that for oral next week, the boys will be tested on a new picture, unlike when they are in P1. The boys were also told to revise vocabulary words and sentence structure from the textbook.
The boys will be tested from index no 30 - 15 on Tue 25 Apr and index no 16- 1 on Wed 26 Apr.

Re: Reminder on EL spelling AMODE

Dear Parents,

Tomorrow is their English unit 7.2 spelling, which is part of their AMODE test.
Please ask them to learn well and bring their EL spelling book tomorrow.
Please help to ensure that all past spellings have been signed and all corrections have been completed.

Dear Parents,

EL spelling book has been returned. Please sign and do corrections if any. Bring back next Thursday (13/4) for unit 7.2 spelling. A gentle reminder that unit 7.2 spelling is part of the Term 2 English AMODE test. Please do ask them to learn it well.

I have also given them a poem titled 'Hermit Crabs' which is used for poem recitation. This is NOT Amode test but just a practice for them with their classmates. They can use the weekend to practise based on the rubrics behind. They will be paired up next Tuesday (11/4) to practise this poem and they will do peer assessment by colouring the smiley faces. They are not required to memorise the script but just read from the worksheet.

Re: Term 2 English AMODE 1 (Spelling)

Dear Parents,

Next Thursday (13th April) is their unit 7.2 EL spelling. Unit 7.2 spelling will be counted as part of English AMODES this term. Please ensure that they learn it well.

The second English AMODE is a grammar and vocabulary test where more details will be given at a later date.

Dear Parents,

There is some mix-up on the collection of the $24 school bill. All of them have the GIRO option so it will be deduction of $24 through the bank account. They will not need to pay the $24 in cash or cheque. I have informed the boys.As for those who have brought today, I have told them to bring it home.

Very sorry for the confusion.
