3) Memorise and prepare for your Show & Tell AMODE Test next Wednesday to Friday (27th to 29th July). Remember to bring something to show.

Re: EL AMODE 2 (SHOW & TELL) & English (13/7)
Dear Parents,
Today, I taught them how to use the conjunction, "when". It is used to join two sentences that happened at the same time into one sentence.
E.g.
The baby girl smiled when Hashim carried her.
When Hashim carried the baby girl, she smiled.
EL AMODE 2 (Graded Show & Tell)
Topic: My Favourite Food
They will be tested in Week 5, Wed to Fri (27th to 29th July). They need to be ready before 27th July. Need to be 10 to 12 or more sentences. Must bring something to show like a photograph, a miniature or the food itself if it is easy to bring. The boys need to memorise their scripts. Use the rubric to help in the preparation of this show & tell.
They have been given the following:
- a letter (Pls sign and give back tomorrow.)
- a template on 'My Favourite Food' (This is for them to write out their script.)
- a practice worksheet on 'My Favourite Family Member' (You can take a look at what they have written for practice.)
- a sample worksheet on 'My Favourite Family Member' (This is something for you to refer to as a guide.)
- a rubric (This is to help you in your preparation so that you know how they can be awarded the marks.)
*Please do not lose all these as they need to file into their EL file after their AMODE show & tell. Thank you.
