Re: Term 3 EL AMODES: Comprehension Cloze
Dear Parents,
I have returned unit 11, 12 LS, compre cloze practice 1 and 2 last Friday. They are for revision for the comprehension cloze Amode test this Friday (4th Aug). Please bring them back on Friday (4th Aug) as I will collect them after the test.

Re: EL TERM 3 AMODES (SHOW & TELL)
Dear Parents,
There will be two EL Amodes for Term 3 which is the show & tell and the comprehension cloze test.
The first EL Amodes is the Show & Tell Presentation in Week 4 (18th to 21st July). Most likely it will be on the Thursday of that week as I have more EL periods. I will tell them the date again. However, please start preparing for it now. A letter with the rubrics and a template for them to write their drafts has been given earlier this week.
Topic: My Hobby
- 10 to 12 sentences unless they can memorise more
- Bring an item and make reference to it. Do not just take out and show only at the end of presentation. It can be a simple reference. For e.g. This is my favourite soccer ball which I always play with it. It was given to me by my parents on my 7th birthday.
- Need to memorise
- Practise according to the rubrics given

- Do WR Handout 7 (Pg 4 and 5)
- Do WR Handout 6 (Title: Vandalism in the Library) corrections for those who have not completed.
