Dear Parents,
Welcome to a brand new year, 2017! Mdm Sim, Mdm Shahana and I will still be using this blog to update all of you on all the important information. However, the boys will still be required to copy down the necessary information into their diary to train their independence.

a) Reporting time for school has been changed to 7.30am. They will still need their storybooks for silent reading before morning assembly.
Monday to Wednesday: EL storybooks
Thursday & Friday: CL storybooks
b) Tie days will still be according to the terms.
Term 1: Mondays
Term 2: Tuesdays
Term 3: Wednesdays
Term 4: Thursdays
c) Recess timings have changed.
9.45 to 10.15 am - P1, P2 and P4
10.15 to 10.45 am - P3, P5 and P6
d) For this year, there will only be one break at 12.10pm to 12.20pm as the recess has been shifted earlier. It will be a snack cum toilet break as they only end their day at 1.45pm.
e) A student detail report has been given. You need to verify the information on it. If there's any changes, do indicate by cancelling the old information and writing out the new information. There are also some blanks which will require you to fill them up as it is required to be filled up by the parents at every beginning of the year.
f) Timetable has been given. The class blog address is also there. Do keep it properly. There isn't any fun Friday or terrific Tuesday as they have now gone under 'PAL' (Programmes for active learning). For 'PAL', they can wear PE attire as there will be outdoor learning for Term 1. Therefore, they do not need to wear their ties every Monday for Term 1. They only need to wear their ties every Tuesday only from Term 2 (after the March holidays) onwards. We will follow the timetable starting on this Thursday (5/1).
g) Term 1 EL Grammar & Vocabulary list has been given. Please sign.
h) Term 1 school calendar has been given. Please go through it.
i) For those boys who have not brought some of the books that have been collected from them today, please bring them tomorrow.
