Dear Parents,
For EL week, the boys are expected to read the story, 'The Enormous Crocodile' by Roald Dahl.
After that, they need to choose one of the characters that they want to be and write a script for the character that they have chosen.
The template for the script together with the sample script, list of characters & costumes of characters have been given earlier. They will need to write out their script after reading the story. Do not throw away the script template as they will need to file into their yellow file after everything.
They are encouraged to make a costume to represent their characters as they will be doing a one minute of fame (like show and tell) in the classroom during one of the days in week 2 Term 2. I will tell them the date and day again after the March holidays.
I have told them that the costume need not be very big or extensive. It can be very simple as they will need to bring their costume to class and only wear it when it's time for them to do their script presentation. They also need to memorise their script for the presentation.
